Phil Eaton was born in Fiji, but after the family moved to Perth it was not long before Phil made his way to the tropic clime of Darwin. Whenever possible he visits Fiji to reconnect with his cultural roots.
A degree course in science at NTU was soon abandoned so Phil could take up the serious business of music. The yidaki (didjeridu) was the first instrument Phil picked up when he joined Wild Water, however it was in the band's second year that he took over the bass from Geoff Barrett.
A dynamic performer with his winning smile and flying dreadlocks, he is also a founding member of Drum Drum with Airi.
Wild Water's Rastaman, Phil has infused his love of  Rap and Reggae.
